Is there any fossils actually packed out? What the heck? They had an article about having procured some of these last fall, and now nothing but redemptions? What on earth? When is UD going to produce the REDEMPTION ONLY set, where 100% of the cards are redemptions. Unbelievable.

You didnt hear?

Upperdeck has a department now that can use the DNA found in a mosquito that was trapped in tree sap that became fossilized. They are extracting the blood that it sucked from that animal and are going to replace the holes in the DNA sequence with Rhinos that are still around today. (sound familiar yet? haha) They are rasing it right now, so you have to wait untill the rhino dies of natural causes. A Rhino's life span appearently is about 35-45 years. So you are going to be waiting a long time for that depemption to be shipped out. They cant kill the rhino just to put the piece of bone in the card, PETA would be all over them.

From what I heard on these.....they are extrememly thick cards. Packing them out would make pack searching for them very easy.

At least that is what I have heard on them. I would really like to grab one of each of the femur cards, I think that they would be extra ordinary collectables.

I thought of this after my post. Interesting idea. If this is the case, why aren't they ready to ship? Again, the article in the fall made it out like these fossils were in hand.

Guys.. this was an attempt at humor

there are very valid points like the thickness of the card and pack searching. Im actually kind of glad UD didnt pack these out due to stupid pack searchers!

Anyhows.. I just wanna know how a fossilized auroch signs? Will it be Vernand Morency's "flying W"? or will he have a nice clean sig..
