Hi all. Well, after 5 years of searching, I have finally landed the last Yzerman from 01-02 Ultimate Memorabilia
I was seriously thinking I would never find the last one I needed (All Star History #/40) but it finally showed itself on ebay. It had a BIN or Best Offer and I submitted an offer. As soon as I did it I thought WTF are you doing
Just use the BIN. By the time I got back online, the seller had accepted, YES!!! Now the waiting begins. It should be here early next week. In 5 YEARS I have only seen one other. About 3 years ago there was one on ebay. There was about 2 hrs left and my wife, pregnant at the time, wanted to go for a walk and everyone with kids knows, you do not say no to a pregnant woman
so I set a snipe with a fairly high bid. So we left the house and went for a long walk. At that time I still needed quite a few, but it was still on my mind. When we returned home I checked the auction by glancing at the final price and thought "Great I won it" but no, my snipe didnt go through. GRRR!!
At the time I thought "Oh well, its #/40, I'll find it some other time" Fast forward 3 years and I still couldnt find it I did my daily search and here were a couple of new 01-02 Utlimate Yzerman cards on. The title did not state what they were, just said 01-02 Ultimate Yzerman Jersey #/40 and I was not really excited, UNTIL I looked at the scan. My heart stopped beating for a couple seconds I'm sure . Anyway, Here are the scans of them, along with the pic I stole from the buyer.....

Well, there they are. whew, all that scanning is hard work I'd better go treat myself to a box from the local store. Just dont tell my wife. lol I've never been so excited to finish a set. I might send this one in to Beckett for the "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED"
