Anyone know how anaheim is doing their goaltending in the playoffs? I'm just curious as I can't figure it out (although I admit I haven't watched any of the games). Thanks for any input you can give me.

I believe Bryzgalov started the first 4 games because Giguere was having personal issues due to his newborn son's health. However, Bryzgalov was pulled in favor of Giguere during Game 4. Giguere then started (and won) Game 5 last night to clinch the series.

I have a feeling that this opened the door for Giguere to be back in net for Game 1 of the next round.

Sure - play until you stink, then the other guy gets to play.

Seriously, Ilya was the man until Minnesota got to him in game four, then Giguere came in. Likely he'll be it until he has a bad game.

Does it really matter? I mean either way, the Ducks are likely coming out of the West. They're just so darn deep and good and that d in front of either goalie is so solid..........

Giguere would have been the starter from Game 1 on if not for the problems with the newborn baby. It was just a matter of time until he got back in there. He's been amazing all season. No way you can have him sit in the playoffs regardless of how well Bryzgalov is playing
