Seeing Hamas' thread with his multi-colored jersey set, figured I'd put up my 2003 CFL Atomic master. Its a master with EXTRAS!
First I did the base set & red parallel. Took a few cases before finally finishing the gold parallel set but it's done. Of course, the insert sets were long done.
Next the jerseys. There are SPs and 1 never made. In total there were 17. I noticed that there were,of course, different colors but that there were also different pieces depending on where it was cut from the uniform. CFL jerseys are made from 3 different materials per jersey. This was all I needed to go nutty looking for every single different piece I could find. Even though some MIGHT look the same, they are not, to the naked eye, you can see the difference. Here's the results..
There are a few real cool ones but none more than the Eric Lapointe-teal. Here's what is cool/odd, NO CFL team has TEAL in their jerseys, also, it is 2x thicker than all the others. Must be an error from another set, sport etc cause it's not CFL.
Also to build the set I have 4 extra gold cards, 2 #ed to the players jersey and 2 simply not numbered (they should be for those who don't know). In the last scan there is also a blank back card from the Eskimos. Thought it was cool when I got it so it was added.
Times though, have made me decide to sell it off. Need new transportation and going to let most of my cards go to get it. Just thought I'd show it before it hits a new home.....
