i just want to collect some opinions, such as prices on singles and boxes for the Spring expo coming up

I think the single card prices on guys that could retire if the CBA isn't resolved will be lower than usual ie. Yzerman, Modano, Hull, Joseph etc.

the younger guys cards should still sell pretty strong ie. Nash, Kovalchuk etc

I think all Heroes & Prospects and ITG Franchise singles will be selling pretty high as well as other heritage themed products put out recently.

i see box prices for boxes pre 2004 dropping significantly.

the best thing I see is myself scooping up tons of CuJo's! :)
 
Hi end stuff will be selling like hotcakes but don't expect any steals. Low end jersey's will be able to be had for a song. As for boxes, I think all will sell good due to lack of 1,000,000 new products.
 
I would say you could reasonably expect deals on US West Franchises, Legends Classics, Legendary Signatures, and maybe UD retail. H&P and Franchises Canadian will not be discounted much if at all. Franchises US East will likely be at cost.

Don't expect any great deals on high end until after the Expo when all these dealers dump on eBay.

I have a baaad feeling about this expo.
 
As usual, there will be the occasional dealer-dumping on day 3. I wouldnt expect any deals on Premier Auto Patch RC's or other high-end rc's and emblems. I can almost bet that Slowball Steve will walk away with everything he brought to the show.
 
Sure would be grateful if anyone attending could keep me in mind if they spy any of the 99 BAP GU I need to finish the set! We have crap around these parts for big shows - just a couple of Mom n' Pops...

Dave, send me a list with what you need. Also, an impression on what cash value and trade value you are willing to give helps (I won't hold you hostage to it if I'm lucky enough to pick up something cheaper - just need a ceiling)

Hmmm--- I have enough money to only rock kaz or ba... but not enough for both...

I'm looking forward to taking my time looking through singles though - should be fun!

Thanks to those who offered to help out, but everything's changed for me and I'm getting out of the hobby, at least for a good long while, so please don't try to find me the cards I'd messaged you on earlier. Thanks!
