That one doesn't even DESERVE a comment.

I'll give half a comment :)

the nhl shield we all know & love from the ultimate 1/1's are about 4 times that size

I'll give a quarter of a comment to add on to Trevor's: It could bre from an All-Star jersey and the small NHL logo could be from one of the emblems. Probably not though.

That leaves a quarter of an answer for someone else now. :)

This might be a plausible idea if it weren't Jay Bouwmeester who hasn't ever been in an allstar game. =D

OK, I'll take the last quarter of a comment:

I have talked to the seller and he pulled it from a pack from a sealed box, even told me where he bought the box which is a big dealer in Ottawa.

Dont know where the patch could of came from, maybe Chris or any other patch detective could figure it out but I bleive this guy this time..

I saw a drury from 02-03 titanium with a patch much like that, though I believe it was silver.
it looked real to me as the card was being pushed up from beneath by the patch.

I think its from the All Star Game Patch 2003 in Florida..Its about the right size this patch is about 4-5 inches wide.

Even though he was not in the All Star Game, was he not in skills competition and/or the Young Stars Game and if so we he not of worn the patch since being from Flordia - Just Curious...

Isn't the card a simple jersey card, not a patch? If so the card must be a fake unless the NHL logo is from a tag or something?
