Another "Is that patch legit?" thread

Wouldnt buy anything with a patch from an ebay seller name makeovermaster...

As far as I know, they only used third jersey patch swatches for his cup rookies...and me posting from my phone I can't see whether or not the jersey material is teal or black. If it's teal personally I would stay away. Plus, this isn't the first questionable patch "makeovermaster" has posted for sale. I've actually seen other questionable Pavelski and Vlasic cup rookies from the same seller before where the patch material isn't the same as real game jersey patches.
 
Sellers thoughts:

Dear iidaemmi,

Harri you guys have way to much time on your hands .All of the patches I have sold were purchased on ebay no one posted any questions when I bought these. In addition several of the patches were graded by beckett grading service. The pictures are not in the description anymore but these patches are in the same condition as purchased. I think you and your friends should spend your time and efforts contacting Upper Deck not me . These patches are perfect and would cost way more than the cost of the patch to alter. The blttom line is I do not ship to Finland anyway .Anyone quesgionin my honesty or integrity should not bid and buy all you cards from Harri.

Beckett doesn't grade patches. :foottap: I wouldn't touch his cards with a 10 foot pole. i've seen his name mentioned a few times in regards to patch faking. 1 time i would say is a mistake. when it appears numerous times about numerous patches he should be avoided

Thanks Harri for contacting the seller... The fact that he answers like that incriminates him more than anything else...

I've never seen one looking like the one posted by S4Kh4r0v. I think several Vlasics were made using that kind of patch though, so nothing's impossible...
