Another one for the books.....

At the show here in Edmonton.

A fellow trader and long time eBay seller brought over a box of UD ICE that he'd purchased from West's Sports Cards.

It turns out that this case was a HOT CASE... By that I mean each and everybox had three to four Tier 1 RC's outta 99.

Chris (hockey-site-in-canada) showed me the four that he'd pulled, 2 x Ryan, Price & Mueller. Plus each and every pack had a HIT in it..

Needless to say, I was going to phone and see if there were any other boxes available outta this.

As luck would have it, the vendor beside me was on the phone already to West's and someone else was already rippin' the rest of the case..

So all told each and ever box contained between three and four plus there were hit's in each pack.

Lastly, if the truth be told. This was a case that the shop had on hold for a customer who decided that he no longer wanted..

I wonder how he'll feel after he hears this news? :badmood:

So thanks for the read and I have no pics of anything. Fellow user's Edo1977 & exchefy were the people who brought it my attention.

Uhhh....would that not be a 16 box case? And at 4 per box that's a pretty big chunk of the Tier 1 rookies spoken for right there.

I know which product I'm avoiding like the plague in the future.

I also go there quite abit...Nice to see customers there pull cards like that!! Classy guy's there and really easy to deal with!!

I may have to go back to my pit as I bought 1 box one day and got a Ryan/99 and a Price/99 in the same box as seen in an earlier post. I went back a few days later and from the same case got a Mueller/99......I may have to see what hey have left!

Wow...could you imagine busting that whole case by one's self....
