That's right, another of the cards needed for the "greatest set of all time" has come home. Drumroll please....:beer:
I give you, the Leetch/Lindros dual blade card 6/10. With this wonderful addition, my needs to complete this master set is now down to just the nine lonely cards in my signature. If you watched this on Ebay, you probably guessed that I paid more than I wanted for this card but with all nine remaining cards being /10, I'm fairly certain I should get used to having that "empty pocket" feeling after picking it up - definitely since there are more than just myself looking for the rare cards from this set...including a certain collector that I seem to go head to head with on just about all of 'em. But hey, that's what makes it fun

As always, if ANYONE can hook me up with any of the "notable nine" in my signature, I surely would love to hear about it. Some of the cards that I am missing are just baffling - I mean, look at the players in the combo cards...outside of Selanne and Karyia, I never would have thought that these would be the ones I would need as the project drew to a close. I have certainly learned this absolute truth: there is no rationality when it comes to player collectors
