Another UD forced redemption replacement

Well, looks like UD is forcing people to replace outstanding redemptions, without asking what they want. So much for waiting for the much anticipated choose your own redemption program.

For my 06-07 Sweet shot puck auto Kari Lehtonen, I got an 07-08 Sweet shot puck auto Ryan Getzlaf. My bonus was a 06-07 Beehive pack, woohoo It did have an Elias auto in it.

Overall, about the same value I would guess. Nothing to get too excited about.

Getzlaf is on his way up ellis is consistantly good and I think Lethi is going down a bit?? but I'm not 100% sure about his values? just my 2cents

Really tit for tat on that exchange.Not a fan at all of having no choice in your redemption though. We should have some rights as a customer

Fair, even if it was not what you requested, but it is what the pack says,

If a redemption can not be filled it will be replaced at the sole descretion of UD.

You agreed to certain terms when you redeemed the card:

While it's unfortunate that some players refuse to honor signing obligations, I think UD has done a pretty good job at meeting the comparable standard. In cases where they've blown it, I've yet to hear of one case where they've been contacted and didn't make good.
