Another White Envelope Shipper

Just received a nice Antoine Vermette - Luxury Suite Jersey Auto RC /299 that is now creased to bloody heck.

The seller shipped in a tighty whitey envelope... and didn't even bother to put the top loader inside a team bag.

Naturally, the card came out of the toploader and was run through the sorting machines in it's nice protective white envelope. To make this even better, it was a seller from Europe... so it had a long, overseas trip of abuse.

I will say that he offered me a refund for the card... but you should avoid this seller until he changes his shipping practices. I already gave him some shipping suggestions, but he scoffed at them because I was the first to complain.

He also received a negative recently from another eBay buyer for a damaged item.

So here is another (hardly professional) response from the seller:

Its NO problem sending cards in common envelopes as long as you have a toploadet and put a tape over the opening so the card cant fall out! Thats the way i pack cards before shipping it! What happened on the way to you is not my problem! I think you had a bad day reciving it!Very bad you arnt satisfied with your item. And you are under my board for people that whine all the time!

Sorry to hear your card was ruined, nothing worse than opening your mail, already knowing it might be damaged...to find you are correct. Even worse when they take attitude with you.

WOW!!! What a response... I guess he feels that an ocean of separation means he doesn't have to act in a professional sales manner.

I have bought from all over the world, primarily Europe and Asia (Hong Kong), and have always had great experiences. I guess tools can live anywhere.
