The Hawks Thursday sent Antoine Walker back to the Celtics in return for Gary Payton, Michael Stewart and Tom Gugliotta, league sources told ESPN Insider Chad Ford.

Gosh... As a Celtics fan.. this is the worst trade ever... Ainge came in and traded Walker away for a reason... Now he signs him back... I don't get it... And GP... He was playing amazing with them... just watch and see what happens...

I read a rumor that Payton will be released by Atlanta and may have a deal in place to resign with Boston as we are one player short of the limit(12)that would be amazing.

I really like this deal. Mark Blount simply isn't getting it done in the inside. Also, Marcus Banks is getting better, and Delonte West should be a decent backup, he's been playing well in his playing time.
