Any good shops in Nfld?

Hey all,

The wifey and I decided wer'e gonna hop on a plane this Thursday and head over to Newfoundland for a couple of days. I would imagine that we'll visit some family in Sunnyside, then spend at least a day in St. Johns. Any good shops that I should keep an eye out for?

go to mavericks in downtown st.johns.....its a small store but got some good stuff.....calgore7 knows more because i can't remember details bout the exact location...it's across from the scotiabank building i believe and on one of the main streets.....hope that helps

Andrew owns Mavericks and is a member here (Maverick*sports) drop him a line. I think his hours are Mon-Sat 10-6. He is downtown St John's and carries a great selection of cards, packs, toys, memorbillia, clothing etc.... Its a great shop.

Rob, who is your family in Sunnyside? Belive it or not i am originally from Sunnyside.

Hi,

Hit Maverick Sports on Water Street. In my opinion, it's the best place in town for collectors. It's in the vicinity of all of the major financial institutions in case you need to withdraw money for box breaks! My boyfriend and I work a few blocks away. Just let Andrew know that you're from Hobby Insider. We'll try to drop by and say hello!

He'll also have some cases of UD Black coming in tomorrow if you're interested!
