Now if only Panini can follow suit with their product that's already out (ahem, ahem) -- its frustrating for player/team collectors and prospective wax breakers who can't get access to checklists early. Kudos to upper deck on the S1 checklist :beer:

It's a running set. The Series 2 version will probably fill in the rest of them.

I would presume they have been pushed to Series 2. No Yip in this series (not surprised), but there isn't any Duchene and such either. So I presume they pushed some guys back.

I just am suprised that players with base in series1 aren't in there yet players that don't have base have canvas in series 1. Guess it just bugs me as a "parallel" set then.

I'm not sure the Canvas cards are actually a parallel set at all. The set design is similar to the base set, but not the same.

Noticed that too....hopefully just an oversight......takes no effort to add the exclusives; adds a touch of value and a nice running theme with UD products since 98/99.

As per the usual... UD loaded up the autograph checklist with the likes of Eric Ersberg, Martin Gerber, John Negrin, Mike Iggulden, Justin Pogge, Stefan Meyer.

That's simply embarrassing. He played the entire 10-11 season overseas, and stayed in Europe this year too.

So the Canvas set reminds me of 93-94 SP set, where its a bigger set, but not neccesarily a parallel. I think these will be really nice looking.
