Seriously..........am I watching WWE (WWF)??? I am so sick of the bull**** the UFC is putting out there. I know the match between Diaz and McGregor was not so easy to judge but Diaz had it wrapped up. Conner was in the fight till the end but he was always johnny come lately so to speak. Nate EASILY won 3 rounds but for some INSANE reason one of the judges (UFC) wanted to extend this to a trilogy.

I watched it. I wouldn't say Diaz took it. I honestly thought it would be a draw.

I am more upset about the fact that the UFC is handing out fines to both Diaz and McGregor for the bottle tossing, but the UFC won't hand out fines to people who abuse cocaine, and PEDs. They have pretty much refused to even talk to Mark Hunt about Lesnar, and a lot of fighters are apparently interested in starting a fighter's union.

I don't think the Diaz-McGregor fight was as much of a slam dunk as you think. We all ran fake scorecards at the end of the night and all of us (none of us with vested fandom in either guy) had it either 48-47 McGregor or 47-47 (with round 3 being a 10-8 for Diaz)

The 2nd round could have been a swing round in my opinion but the fact that McGregor knocked Diaz down a couple times is an easy case to override cage aggression and stuffed takedowns. The 4th round was also pretty close but we all thought McGregor did just enough.

I'm not sure that it's the UFC that's taking action unless there is (unlikely) contract termination on the line. I'm sure it'll be the athletic commission, won't it?

The little blurb I read, it said something Dana White saying they will be fined, I assumed it was DW/UFC doing it.
If it is the NAC, that is fine, but at some point, the UFC has to step in and also slap these idiots (Diaz, Conor, Jones, Lesnar (will never fight in UFC again), etc...) with more fines and or bigger suspensions on top of what the NAC hands them.

I think 48-47 McGregor, and 47-47 Draw were acceptable. I don't think you can give Nate round 2. He finished strong, but got knocked down twice in the round and was getting tuned up early on.

I just hope Connor actually defends his title next. Fight number 3 can wait a while.
