Hi all,
I recently purchased a card on eBay. The seller charged $17 for shipping which I agreed to, since I have no problem paying for shipping provided I receive equal service vs. cost. I paid for the item on the 11th of January. By last week, I still had not received the package, a tracking number, or any sort of shipping notification from the seller. I politely sent an e-mail to the seller advising that I had not received the package, and was curious if I could have the tracking # so I could check and see if it got stuck in customs. I advised I wasn't yet overly concerned given the unreliability of cross border shipping times. He replied two days later, explaining that he was away and couldn't give me the number but that the item had indeed shipped. Yesterday, the package arrived, postmarked on the 21st, with $12 shipping attached, (which in my estimation meant I was overcharged by approximately $3 for handling) and the seller waited 10 days to ship. I will leave a positive for the transaction, but what would be appropriate DSR's? I'm thinking 2 for shipping time and 3 for shipping costs and communication. But I'm flip-flopping on the shipping costs, whether it should be a 2 or 3.....anybody care to add their two cents worth?
