Are UD's Print runs always reliable?

I sure hope so. I just snagged a 05-06 SOTT Gretzky for a hefty sum. I have seen 3 pulled already in this years SP Authentic and it supposed to have a printrun of 15. There was also supposed to be 10 cards redeemed last year but I don't think I've actually heard of anyone getting them. Any thoughts?????

There were 15 redemptions in last year's SPA packed out according to the population report - it doesn't necessarily mean that there are just 15 in the print run.

Well I can't imagine even UD doing something stupid like that. I have actually only seen scans of 2, the third was supposed to have happened but I heven't seen it.

I think I've seen about 4 or 5 pulled today John, so I can back your claim. As for your first statement...well, they did it this season with the Autofacts Beliveau cards too. There were 33 redemptions, and many assumed that there were 33 total as a result, however, a handful were inserted live into product, so the print run of that is now a mystery too

to me it looks like UD has only stated it is a
short print, no print run is specified on the 05-06
checklist.

Well I was able to back out of the deal, but it sure makes me feel like a tool. Thanks for the info Chris, did Karvin have any idea of a print run?
