A's making pitch for Bonds

I have never really been a big fan of Bonds even going back to his days with Pitt. However with that said it appears he will no doubt break the all time homerun title, passing Hank Aaron. The A's are interested in signing Bonds and making him a DH. It makes sense for Bonds to goto a American League team to finish out his career as a DH. This is only a rumor from what I can tell but seems the A's are interested in Bonds as I think are the Giants. Everything I have heard which I got to be honest I try to avoid is that Bonds wants to stay close to home on the west coast.

It would make tons of sense for Bonds to sign with the A's so he will only have to bat. Of course, that doesn't mean he's completely out of danger when it comes to injury (i.e. getting hit in the leg with the ball, pulling something while running the bases) but it significantly cuts down his chances of doing so. I know the Giants want to keep him because he's the main attraction for their ballpark..but Bonds doesn't play everyday..and the fans usually are only told of when he plays maybe minutes or even during the game (NOT GOOD FOR BUSINESS!)

What about him? He got traded to the Blue Jays and now Oakland is looking for another big bat for their vacant DH spot. Bonds would fit that mold perfectly if he would just get off his high horse in the San Fran area.

I think that's where he will go since Frank Thomas is now in Toronto. The DH spot is open and Bonds will stay close to home.

Ah, sorry. Yeah..I think he got traded a couple days ago for a pretty big deal considering his age but after last year's season..he earned it.
