Hey guys, I thought it might be a good idea to start a thread (and maybe make it a sticky) to ask us questions directly instead of via PM. That way everybody gets a chance to hear the answer. I think we should keep the redemption thread going on it's own so ask those quesrtions on there.

I'll do my best to answer any other questions here but please be mindful that I may not be able to answer everything.
 
Not a bad idea. I'm as guilty as anyone with putting questions in random threads all over the place.

I'll start with one that's not directly product-related. With Karvin on board, can you describe the specific roles/tasks that he, yourself, and Al are responsible for, with regards to the production of hockey cards?

Great idea. I was wondering if the Chris Pronger Private Signings auto was packed out? It is on the checklist but I have yet to see one surface. Maybe it's a SSP? And what can I look forward to in Dominion for Private Signings? Thanks.

If a redemption card is not being made (ie Tough Times Harold Snepsts auto) Is it up to me to contact Panini for a replacement or will it be done automatically? Mine has been sitting in my redemption queue since the product was released.

so now my question is wheres my card. ive contacted you through pm twice, the first time i had to remind you on what card it was and the second time i pmed you I got no response.
I understand you were on vacation but I shouldnt have to contact you at all since you said the cards were in house in late January and I redemmed my card in February, We are now in August.

In all seriousness though Clint...have you guys ever thought about setting up a quick win social media outlet (Facebook fan page, Twitter account) for hockey stuff only where you could link the Knight's Lance and announce whose autos are in house rather than checking into the thread every 5 or 6 days with updates? The lazy dude in me would prefer to see something on Facebook or Twitter telling me "Ron Greschner has returned his oustanding autographs" rather than popping back through the thread pages over the last week to catch up.
 
Wow, this might be more work that I thought. Let's see:

1.)No idea, Karvin will be here in a couple of weeks, until he gets here I haven't a clue how it's all going to work.

2.)I've asked about this several times. Apparently, we do have distribution (though limited) in Europe. We're pushing for more.

3.) Pronger packed out, he's a SSP at only 49.

4.) We've secured deals with other players to replace those Tough Times cards.

5.) I asked that we keep redemption questions on the other thread. I don't mail the cards, I can only tell you if they are here and ask CS to take care of it.

6.) Thought about Twitter but then there's no archive of previously asked questions. May still do that for behind the scenes peeks.
 
This really isnt a forum type question but I asked Al and he hasnt got back to me yet. I sold a redemption card on ebay for $90 the person convinced me to send with no tracking but email him the code first. Needless to say he stole my card and cash. I had the card sent back to me and now I have the redemption card. After showing proof of payment and proof that he indeed got his money back is there any way to transfer the redemption back to me?
 
Any chance Panini will continue the Recollection Collection through multiple products throughout the year? I know you're keeping them in Score (and I assume minimal print runs), but any thoughts of expanding them into other products and having some a bit more attainable?
 
The Certified Fabric of the Game Team Die Cuts for 2010-11 all had a pretty generic font to them - will there be a more stylized version unique to each team for 2011-12? When you look at how awesome the Football versions of these cards are, the Hockey ones really paled in comparison.

Also, I loved the Team Logo Die Cuts in Zenith - any possibility that they'll be imported to another set in a Silhouette style ala the rookies in Crown Royale? Obviously some teams (i.e. Buffalo, Boston) have simple circles with the design on the interior, so a basic "die cut" for them is a bit bland, but throw the logo over top of it with the memorabilia showing under the spokes and the big B and a pic of that big ogre Chara, and you've got one nice-looking card.

This sounds like something the bay would have to intervene in. I'm not sure how we could fix it without getting into a big legal hassle.

Haven't seen designs for either of those sets yet.

any update on the Torrie Robertson tough guy auto redemption? sorry got to ask since it was Torrie b day on Aug 2 and a former Whalers
 
Two Zenith questions:

1) What happened to Oliver Ekman-Larsson's 499th card? (For those who didn't see, his RC is numbered to 498.)
2) The first tier of DTT rookie parallels (141-185) appears to have two different gold-foil sticker autograph versions, one /99 and one /10, with no way other than the serial numbering to tell them apart. Is there another marking of some sort, or just the different numbering?
