Asking for my first redemption replacement. Anything I should know.

I've been waiting on a Sean Couturier SP rookie auto from Certified last year and judging that almost all his rookies were live but this one so I'm guessing it's never being made. When I call tomorrow is there anything I should know or is it a straight forward process? I was just gonna flip it for a Devils card and would prefer to do it personally so I know what card in general but have heard some good things lately about replacements so hopefully I don't get burned. Thanks
