Hey folks,
Sorry for the delay in posting my August breaks. At the end of August my boss (and very good friend) was in a very serious motorcycle accident. With helping out him and his wife after the accident with both personal and professional stuff, I really haven't had a ton of time. He will be making a full (hopefully) recovery in time, but it's going to be a lengthy rehab. Lots of "owies" but he's confident that he'll get it done, and so are the doctors.
Ultimately, he's very lucky to be alive. So for those of who ride, please be extra careful. For those of you who drive, please be careful of those on a bike.
Anyways, on with the August mail.
Let's start with sets that I'm working on
00/01 SPX
- continuing my work for the lowest AND highest serial numbers from the set. Here's Gaborik 148something/1500 and Kultanen 1468/1500
00/01 Titanium
- I'm working MAINLY on the stick set, but I do pick up 2 color jersey pieces where I can. Here's a jersey of Hrdina and Nedved
10/11 Pinnacle City Lights Prime
- HAH - no commited to the set, but I pick up what I can where I can. Here's Zajac, Langenbrunner, Penner, Pronger, Tanguay
10/11 Pinnacle City Lights Auto
- as above, not really commited to chasing the set, but here's Cowen and Penner
10/11 Pinnacle City Lights Jerseys (non-white)
- this I'll probably end up chasing for sure at some point. Here's Bourque, Hanson, Useless Hordichuk, Zajac
10/11 Upper Deck 20th Anniversary.
- Grabbed 11 for the set - Harju, Paajarvi, Tedenby, Vasyunov, Almond, Caron, Dadonov, Gionta, King, Martin, Tangradi

Marco Sturm (97/98)

Mark Mancari (07/08)
- sent down to Manit... err, Chicago for the start of the season. Here's his SPGU, UD Ice, Ultimate and Victory
Andrew Ebbett (08/09)
- sent down to Chicago. Here's his SPA, SPGU and Trilogy.
Byron Bitz (09/10)
- injured, will be sent down to Chicago. I think this is the guy I'll get stuck with. Here's his BAP, Cup 065, Cup 247 (available), MVP, SP Authentic, Ultra, Victory and Panini sticker.
Alexander Sulzer (09/10)
- I think he's slotted in as #7, so he'll probably play in the first few games. Here's his SP Authentic, SPGU, SPX, UD Black "U" and UD Ice.
Matt Climie (09/10)
- if he plays for the Canucks this year, I'll be very surprised - but I don't think any of his RCs cost me more than 50 cents. Here's his UD Ice.
Mike Duco (10/11)
- he's looking like he'll be starting the season on the fourth line. Here's his SPX rookie. Looks like he only got 2 rookies this year.
We'll flip to an "upgrade"
Ryan Shannon (06/07)
- I have no ability to decide on the "best", so I keep upgrading. Here's the latest.

- Starting of with Victory - as he was skipped in MVP - he'll be mid level and stop showing up by mid season.

- and in Bruce's honor, let's close with Harold. Here's a 83/84 OPC PSA 10 and then the various Decades Jerseys (Black/Silver x2/Gold)
