Auto'd Game Used sticks

A buddy of mine is looking to sell a couple of sticks he has lying around. One of the sticks is a game-used Dave Andreychuk stick used in game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals. It is autographed by Andreychuk. Another item is a game-used Alexander Ovechkin stick signed by Ovechkin. If you are interested in either of these items just send me a PM and I can get you in contact with the seller.

The seller is an honest individual and lives in the Greater Toronto area. His job (I'll let him decide if he wants to reveal that) puts him in close contact with many, many hockey players. Anyone who has watched OFF THE RECORD or THE GRILL ROOM will have most likely seen him before.

I'm just doing this as a favour. He wants to try and sell it without going the auction route.

The seller has no documentation as they were personally given to him, however...

For the Andreychuk stick, he was the head equipment guy for the OSHL, which was the four on four league of NHLers that played during the lockout. As such, he would be the signing authority for a LOA from the league and he has the league letterhead.

For the Ovechkin stick, the seller (a hockey writer) can provide specifics regarding the acquisition. He has also told me that he can go to Frameworth and they will produce a Frameworth LOA for him.


He told me that he's looking for offers and has been informed by those "in the know" that the Ovechkin stick is worth 4 figures. I have no idea what price he'll let it go for but if you're interested it never hurts to make an offer.
