Awesome patch, but i hate this player thread.

I am just sitting here in my lunch room and thought i would make this post.
I want to see a wicked patch but you were disappointed about the player it was for and a bit of an explanation why you hate them. As an example I would choose Sean Avery.. ( I have never pulled this card but just as an example). I would love to read something like this. Anyone got anything like this?

I pulled a 1 of 1 Auto / Patch of Patrick Roy last year in Between the Pipes. Suffice to say, Im a lifelong Red Wings fan and we all know how the Wings and Avs were from about 95 to 03. To add insult to an amazing pull, it wasn't even a Habs swatch, totally a 4 color Avs swatch.

Not quite in the same ballpark, but the first ever auto card I pulled was a Bertuzzi. I am an Oilers fan, and he used to kill us when he was a Nuck. It was a very bitter sweet moment.

Not a patch card but, everytime I pull a Bobby Orr base I bend it in half and then rip it apart. The guy is a complete loser and in my opinion belongs with the rest of my trash.

in pulled a sam gagner hot prospects hot rookies patch a couple years ago at MLS in calgary, also a sam gagner sweet shot stick save auto(traded it for a sutter fw limited patch auto rc on the spot) as you will notice by my signature, I AM A FLAMES FAN, through and through, I hate pulling oilers....uh....

I didn't know that credibility was based upon my opinion of an athlete. I had a very bad experience with Bobby Orr when I was a child and because of that he is a jerk in my eyes.

Now he has been traded to the hated Avs (man I hate them) and I have no idea what to do with all these cards. I haven't picked up any new ones and have moved a couple out but I am really on the fence - and clearly have been for quite some time - one of these days I shall figure it out.

I still collect him, as I know he probably won't have a whole lot more cards produced. But I collected him because of the person, not because of the team he was on.

I have a couple All-Star themed multiplayer cards in my collection that include - on the same card with Sakic - Bill Guerin. And the Guerin swatches are uniformly decent. It's distressing.
