As an eBay Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
Funny - there is a member of the Beckett Board (maybe HI also) that goes by that handle??? I will check where I saw it. bad enough when it happens to us collectors - but if it is a Board member that sent that way - they ought to be CRUCIFIED!!!!!

You may want to check with cj - he won a St Luois #/15 from the same seller. See if his was shipped in padded or plain????

Suitman19 - If you were thinking of me as being that seller, I'd just like to clarify that I am not him, as I do not even have an ebay account. I wish I had sweet cards like he seems to though :(

So no crucifiction (at least for me) is in order :D
 
Actually on HI alone there are 2 members with the similar handle.

I was actually thinking more of the other Board.

Jesse, I didn't think that you were the guy, and I hope you didn't think I was pointing the finger at you. I was just trying to warn the good folks of HI that they may want to stay away from this dude. Mike

I'm sorry I'm not Lecavalier4 on ebay ;) I don't recall ever buying from that seller. Sorry to hear about the experience, Mike :(
 
man when you pay 40.00 for a card it does not take the seller much to throw it in at most a .99 bubble mailer and in bulk even from the store is .50 and if really bulk from company can get mailers down to .10 per. there no excuse on a 40.00 card. if it was say a 3.00 card yeah i could understand plain env. but not in this case...i would contact the seller first which i am sure wont help but atleast you will have made the effort...then give him a neg. and explain why...i know myself look at feedback before i bid on any auctions---i go right for the negatives to see why seller got one and then i look to see if seller left the buyer a negative and what they said...those two things tell me a lot about what a seller is like....just my two cents and yes then in turn im sure the seller will leave you a negative unless they have already posted feedback. jason
 
The seller just offered to refund me for the card if I return it. I told him in the future I am happy to pay extra for safe shipping. If he refunds me I won't drop the neg on his feedback, but I won't be bidding on his stuff anymore unless he changes his selling practices. Thanks for all of the replies. Mike
 
Man, I know what you mean. I just received a white envelope delivery of 2 rookie cards from a board member that's on both boards. I just had to shake my head :mad: . Thankfully the cards were al right but I won't be dealing with him again. I would have thought more from a seasoned trader :( . Glad to hear this seller stood by his auction and customer. -Mike :cool:

glad he offered a refund....2.75 on a env. is not kewl if you ask me....jason
 
i just got a hasek auto from artifacts in a white envelope from hong kong
arrived in good shape, gave him a positive but mentioned the white envelope
in my feedback, keith
