Bad taste?

Is it really his car? I found this picture on a newsgroup page. The auction car looks significantly less trashed than the police photo. :confused:

Well I think it is Heatley's car as well judging by the Georgia Plate.

I don't think anyone is trying to hit it big or they would be saying it was his car.

Although it is still chilling to see the car.

I highly doubt its Heatley selling it, someone probably bought it off salvage from the insurance company! Those things always sell for super high off salvage, the core of the car looks okay for someone looking for parts!
 
At least it doesn't have one of those patronizing midi files like "Jingle Bells, Batman smells."

Still, RIP Snyder. I wonder if Heatley's driving instructor was Ted Kennedy? :confused:

Thats outta line. If your riding in a car driving at high speeds you can ask the driver to slow down or stop and let you out. Not blaming Snyder, but each of them had a choice to make, its not all Heatleys fault.
 
I do believe that I'm allowed to have my opinion, just like everyone else. You don't like it, that's fine. Putting me down for it, not cool.

I've always had the same opinion about that whole situation. Not going to change it because you guys say so. okthanksshutupseeyabye.
 
I'm with C.J. on this one. After the incident, I lost all my respect for Heatley. Everyone is responsible for their auctions, even Heatley. Weather it was bad luck or on purpouse, it was still him sitting behind the wheel with Dan Snyder (RIP) next to him.

I want to see Heatley behind bars.

Heatley screwed up. He is trying to make things right. I love when you say, "I do believe that I'm allowed to have my opinion, just like everyone else. You don't like it, that's fine. Putting me down for it, not cool." So it is cool to judge Heatley because he is a star but not to judge you because you are a nobody. Give me a break.

Oh so it's cool to let Heatley kill someone but let him go free since he's a star, but not some "nobody" if they were to do the exact same thing? Please, you cannot honestly tell me that if it were some other random shmuck in his place that they wouldn't have been thrown in jail in a second. Give me a break.
 
Come on now guys. Enough mudslinging. Whether or not we agree with CJ (which I don't), he is entitled to his opinion. Maybe he didn't need to be so blunt about it ;), but not one of us should be standing on a high horse chucking stones at him. What Heatley did was wrong, but I dare anybody to say they wouldn't have done the same thing in the same situation. 'Cause I know, if I was driving a car like that, you can darn well bet I would have been racing around like a freakin maniac as well, and I would imagine so would most of the guys on here. In fact, I have done it, when I went in my buddy's new Porsche for a test drive. And even though I wasn't driving, I sure as heck wasn't telling him to slow down. Once you hit 200km/hr, your mind kind of shuts down.

But that's beside the point. You wanna sling mud guys, keep it confined to e-mail.....
