So I'm at the hobby store showing the guy my Larry Bird JSY/Auto I got today that I redeemed that I pulled from a pack at that guys store. Starts pouring rain outside and he asks if I wanna wait a minute ( got other stuff too didnt want my stuff to get soaked ).

So I figured why not break some 06-07 SPX. Pack searched a little bit got 2 thicker packs and a thin one.

All the rest of the cards I could care less about and set on fire, but when I saw this I was kinda pissed as I thought all redemption cards from that year were expired then I saw it wasn't.

Figured this was just a Jersey redemption card until I read a little bit closer...

Dude, thats totally NOT cool. Completely disrespectful to the rest of us hobby-ists.
 
Eh w/e I just grabbed a few packs and picked my own. Used to do that when I was kid. Asked the guy for the box, would randomly pick a pack from the middle and there you go.

Every pack but 2 was thick as heck. ODdly enough all the packs that were bought from that box so far I purchased
 
gotta blame the shop owner also for allowing this stuff to happen...

rockford...just keep in mind, the next time you buy packs, think to yourself..this box was probably searched already...and how you would feel if it indeed was, and you pulled nothing but base out of those thick packs...this is why people get upset by those 2 words..everyone needs to have a chance at the rewards..not just you.

Don't waste your time Bob. This is the same guy who thought it was funny to crack jokes and make light of the Oklahoma City bombing, and 9/11. :crazy:
 
What's he doing here - that is the kind of person that you run into on Beckett - not HI.

Good thing is - I know that I won't be visiting his shop anytime soon but I feel for those that do live close to him.

I do also think that we all know better than to buy packs unless it is from a reputable dealer anyway though.
 
guys ..just leave it be we all know what he did and the common feeling about people that do that this thread will be locked in 3 .............2..................1
