I'd say take out Kopitar and our 1st rounder and you have a deal.:laugh:

Seriously, as much as I have endured over the past 20+ years as a Kings fan it is all goning to be worth it in the next 3 -5 years.

Not only do the Kings have all their obvious current talent and prospects, but LA is gonna hit an absolute goldmine in this year's draft.

Here are the selections they have in the upcoming 2008 NHL Entry Draft:

2 First Round Picks
2 Second Round Picks
2 Third Round Picks
2 Fourth Round Picks

If the Kings take Kyle Beach in this draft, they will get a player who needs some solid tutoring and coaching in the maturity department, but he is 100% skill and heart. He would be a huge addition to that team, same ilk as an Ian Laperierre, Rick Tochett, Mike Ricci, etc.

Kyle Beach is the same as Ryan Getzlaf. Which is huge.

I'm praying the Leafs can land him (if not Stamkos or Doughty ;))

Well, I wouldn't say that. He certainly isn't as skilled as Getzlaf, but there is a possibility that he could be in 4 or 5 years. Anyone who takes him has a project on their hands. He could very well go down as the most hated player in the WHL, EVER. And that is saying a lot considering teh characters that have come out of this league. He's already surpassed Hollweg, Tootoo, and Tucker on the WHL's most hated list. To be hoenst, he is a DUMB kid. What makes it worse are his parents, who are complete toolsheds. He's had 2 concussions this year already, one from a glove on KO punch because he was running his mouth without the ability to back it up. Even Everett fans (like myself), are really sick of his antics both on and off the ice. A lot of Everett fans are ready for him to get out of here, which is saying a lot because Everett fans are some of the most loyal in the league. If he doesn't turn his attitude around, he could end up buried int he minors or Europe, or have his career ended early from a vicious cheap shot. I'm not joking, it really is that bad with him right now which is a shame because he has endless talent, but I don't think the elevator goes all the way to the top if you know what I mean.

Best case scenario is he goes somewhere like Columbus who has a coach that has done well at the WHL and NHL level, understands how to deal with the kids and adults. Or Detroit, another team with a coach who did well in the WHL and has some veterans to help guide the young man on the correct path. If he goes somewhere like Toronto or Philly, I cannot see the kid lasting long.

I know, I know, he really hurt the Kings so far drafting Jonathan Bernier and Trevor Lewis and trading for Jack Johnson and Patrick O'Sullivan.:rolleyes:

I guess he was still learning on the job when he was with SJ so thankfully he screwed your team up and not mine.;)

Oh and yeah, go Sharks.:laugh:

The Leafs would be the worst place for Beach. He's a great player, but the Leafs don't need to gamble on a guy who could very well turn into Steve Downie or Ryan Hollweg. The Leafs need a guy that doesn't need to be coddled. If Beach is going to turn into a productive NHLer and not a head case, he needs some serious coddling.

I think New Jersey would be a good place for him to end up. He could use a Sutter.
 
Hey Prime,Deano didn't draft those players,He got help from his Father-in-Law(Bob Pulford)LOL..Didn't he sign Nagy,Handzus,ETC to Long term Deals?Best think he did in SJ was bring in D.Sutter..Watchout he may sign Bernie Nicholls,Murray Craven Next..LOL

Dude, first of all who are you and where did you come from?

Second, keep watching SoCal. In 3-5 years you'll be begging they had a tap out button for hockey when the Kings play the Guppies and gut them routinely.

Shark guy, I hate to tell you this but Anze Kopitar is already better than EVERY player on your team except Joe Thornton at only 20 years old and getting better by the minute.:laugh:

Then you add Jack Johnson who is 21, Jonathan Bernier 19, Brian Boyle 23, Patrick O'Sullivan 22, Dustin Brown 23 or 24, Mike Cammalleri 25, Alex Frolov 25, Peter Harrold 23, Thomas Hickey 18, Trevor Lewis 20 or 21. You get the point huh?;)

Don't forget all the picks in this year's entry draft with a likely top 3 and possible # 1 overall pick.

Whether he did or not it is a moot point. All the players are still here and Nabby is still in NoCal?
