there is a difference.. the hobby have a shiny metallic chromium finish.. the retail are just glossy!!

Brother I will look when I get home tonight as I have a BUNCH of base dupes (still need a few myself, but I think Oasis is taking care of that.)

As far as the difference between the hobby and retail...the hobby has a rainbow-like foil on it similar to the event worn parallels.
