Begging for Cards?!?

I have a bunch of items currently listed on eBay (shameless plug). So I get a question submitted through eBay in reply to my Bossy/Trottier/Gillies triple autograph listing. Here is what the questions says:

Q: Hi, I am NAME HERE from Estonia and I am very interested in hockey cards. But I am still young and I cant buy from ebay. Maybe you can help me by sending me hockey cards free? If you cant its ok, but if you can, I would be very very happy. Please think about it. Thank you very much. My address is: NAME AND ADDRESS HERE Thank you again, All the best, NAME HERE

Obviously, I blocked out the personal information.

He can't buy from eBay, but has a username and feedback rating?!? :confused:

Has anyone ever seen something like this?

When I asked if you had any free cards you could send me, I really meant beer. I should have been more clear. I mean you can see how the two are interchangable. My fault. LMAO

I do this all the time! That's how I get all my cards :)

It seems like a kind-hearted gesture to send this person some stuff you wouldn't want anyway. The problem would be cost of shipping to estonia or wherever it is. Maybe you could compile some stuff you don't want and send them his way?

I understand he wasn't asking for the card on auction. But don't you find it suspicious that he says he's too young to buy on eBay. . . BUT HAS AN EBAY ACCOUNT!?! Something doesn't add up.
 
Jay wasn't there someone on beckett one time doing the same thing?? A bunch of people jumped on him for it but I think a few gave him cards also. Personally I see some guy that's in his 30's with nothing better to do trying to see who will give him something for free!

Look guys, I said I was sorry. I promise I'll never ask for free beer again(substituting the word cards for beer) I learned my lesson. From now on I'll just come right out and say I would like a cold onefor free.

My name is Josh and I'm a card-aholic....oh wait beer-aholic I mean. I just can't stop. LOL
 
maybe I'd send him a Alex Daigle rookie just to be a smart arse :D ...the .60-.90 would be worth it for a gag(ofcourse I'd send in a white envelope since it is for one, a daigle rookie and 2nd a non trade where beggers can't be choosers :rolleyes:
