To everyone here... I would raise some serious concerns about this seller.

Barry here sold me a 05-06 Cup Emblems of Endorsement card that had a crease (he says manufacturer defect) that was not disclosed and now that I have received the card, and saw the defect, I want my money back. The seller is refusing to refund me the money.

I will be adding pictures in a second to this post.

BUYER BEWARE!

His sale thread is here:

Card that i bought is here:

No description about any damage to the card.

And when I got it here's what that looked like. See pictures.

He refuses to refund me the money yet acknowledges he knew about the damage as he calls it manufacturer issue.

Unfortunately I did send him e-transfer so I can't just dispute it. But what i can do is tell everyone about it, for them not deal with this guy. The guy has over 3k feedback and was here on hobbyinsider, so I assumed he would be okay.

This is just not right.

I will be posting this further on instagram and facebook everywhere. If you're thinking of dealing with him, BUYER BEWARE. I just wouldn't.

Frustrated and angry,
Lu

Cannot say I have dealt with this member but I recognize the name.

Yes, I agree with you. I would 100% not want to pay what you paid given the condition it arrived in as it was NOT disclosed.

I would either want my money back and to send the card back or get a partial refund. If the card is valued at $1000 but you can realistically only sell it for $800 because of the damage then I would want $200 back.

People do this all the time on eBay. I just got money back for a Draisaitl card that had a crease down the back. Yes this specific card was only $7 but I got a refund for it and I plan to give it away for free to someone who just wants the card. I would have been uncomfortable selling this card for over $1 so it is now only worth $1. I Would want the rest of the money back.

Sounds to me like this bearlyjb person is in the wrong. It was sold to you as NR-MT but only arrived in Fair condition then I want the difference back in refund or store credit-type deal.

Good-luck and keep us posted.

I appreciate your message. At this time, nothing has happened with resolving this. Nothing from Barry, nor from the admin team here on hobbyin. so no real update. unfortunately.

Well, I am still admin here and did give it the gool 'ol college try but Barry refuses to take any accountability. Wish my efforts were more fruitful for you Lu!

Sorry, yes, I meant nothing more than what you posted over on the buy thread, Jeremy. Nothing more to add. That's all i meant.

Having had an opportunity to see the card in question up close and in person: It is quite obvious on inspection, it should have been disclosed, and the seller's behaviour is quite frankly inexcusable.
