Came home yesterday to four packages sitting in my mailbox. I was only expecting 3...
First package had..
I wasn't able to make it down to the Expo but my good friend Longflyball was able to snag this for me. Thanks!
Second had...
The Perreault is my first vintage Sabres jersey card while the Selanne is my 97th chase card of the Finnish Flash. I can't see myself hitting my goal of 100 before the end of the year but this is one step closer.
(Don, if you're seeing this, unfortunately my card to you got sent back for some weird reason so I'm sending out out this weekend).
Third had...
I was able to negotiate this down to the price I was willing to pay thankfully. It's now put me at 100% completion for the Jets certified pack-pulled auto collection, complete at 99 pieces. Really happy to have it done!
Now as for the fourth pack, I cannot say enough about the generosity of collectors.
Some of you saw the thread I put out on HI about the Maxime Ouellet Expo 1/1 GU jersey card that popped up on eBay. Admittedly, I was a bit saddened when I got word that the seller had sold to another bidder privately.
Well, I was bamboozled...
Turns out the seller had pulled it completely off for me!
I was shocked and thrilled, and I want to give a big prop to Spencer Williams (Hugeman Enterprises). Unbeknownst to me intiially I've actually purchased from Spencer a couple times (I think on HI also) and I've always found him to be a toprate seller. Check out his eBay auctions at sjw241.
So now, there is no way to deny it - the 05-06 H&P Ouellet rainbow is now complete at 12 cards.
3 show cards, 1 base, 1 auto, 7 mem's.
