I voted for the Hawks as well, simply because that is the most ridiculous patch I have ever seen, and possibly the best ever made.
 
There are other large Hawks patches out there, I have made many of them but I don't think there is anything like the MTO card.

Hard to find memorabilia of those three great Habs goalies.

Habs fans unite.

When I saw these two matched up, I figured the battle would be between those that love colors, breaks, and size and those that love vintage. For me I've seen a ton of Hawks patches. Their logo always yields these types of patches. Then again the same could be said for Canadiens memorabilia. We know what to expect with them. For me the historical significance of the three Montreal pieces trumps the catchiness of the Hawks piece. Both are tremendous pieces of history. Congrats to them both.

Saying how "less unique" the Panini card is and that he has made plenty like it, then saying how great his card is and "Habs fans unite", I'd say that's lobbying for votes for the Habs card while discrediting the Panini card.

Just my opinion, others probably won't agree with my opinion, certainly wouldn't be the first time.

I only wish we had all the major manufacturers' owners here lobbying for their cards... I'm not a fanboy of ITG (or any manufacturer) and I may not agree with necessarily everything that the good doc may post, but nor would I want to. I think we're extremely fortunate to have Dr Price sharing his passion with us and sometimes even putting players in his products that no other company would, just to satisfy requests from members of these forums, so I say all power to him cheering for his co's cards. Who amongst us wouldn't want to see the fruits of their labour win this contest if any of us were in the fortunate position to be able to run our own card manufacturing co?
 
About halfway through the voting and only a dozen votes separating these two beautiful cards. Get those votes in folks!

I had a great idea that I would give everyone who voted for Eil's card a free Stan Mikita Emblem card but perhaps that would be taken the wrong way, so I won't do it.

As nice as the Mikita is I totally dislike cards without a player picture. The triple does more for me, I get more of a wow factor and would rather have it in my collection then the Mikita. 2 beauties but I vote for the triple.
