Just looked at the short list of "premier" FA's left. Almost sad to see so many guys I remember from my younger days. Ok maybe not that long ago, but guys like Selanne (yes I know hes done), Johnson, Stillman, Samsonov, Clark, Grier, Boynton, Dumont, Madden...

Anyone think any of these guys has a chance at another good year? I would assume some of them have unoffically retired by now, but who knows?

I would think someone like Madden, Clark, or Grier could provide some 4th line leadership on a contender (for some reason I see the wings signing someone like Madden or Chris Clark).

More suprising are the goalies on the list, Leclaire, Gerber, and Turco. My my, how fast a goalie's stock falls....

I thought Leclaire was still unhealthy and that Gerber was heading back to Europe.

I'm surprised with McCabe. I'm hoping that Columbus picks him up although I think Howson is done.

samsonov always surprises me, he could be good for 40 points this year... i hope dumont gets one more good year in if possible.
