Best RC?

I'm thinking about starting a player collection of David Perron. Looked on Ebay last night and sadly can't even tell which cards are his RC's. There are so many parallels and inserts out there now! Is there a website I can go to find out what his true RC's are?

Also, can someone tell me what the best brand is for RC's? Back in the day when I was collecting it was SPA. Now we have The Cup, Ultimate, the SPA Auto Patches.

If you get the Beckett Hockey magazine from summer 2008 you can get a nice Rookie Rolodex on all the rookies and their RCs of last year.
