Best scanner for graded cards

Hi, I'm looking for some advice as to which scanner would provide the best quality scans for graded cards. I've heard the Epson V600 works pretty good but I'm wondering if anyone else can either testify to this or has another option that has worked well for you. Comments appreciated, thank you.

I am also looking for a good one.I just read on another site that Epson is great but the person suggest to get one with CCR(what ever that is). But he was saying that it helps with depth when scanning cards in plastics,like graded cards.

I would actually go with a scan app on your android/iphone. They are very good

Epson is the best option, for a reasonable price. I use the Epson V370 Photo (on sale at Staples for $135) .. here's a couple of samples ...

I use a Canon 9000F scanner using Charged-Coupled Device (CCD) technology. I am happy with the results

I would not skimp. $100 difference between the Epson V39 versus V550 but in this case you get what you pay for:

I will not recommend a scanner, but will say that I must be the one guy in the world that couldn't get any model of Epson to work well with slabs. And I tried three different scanners, including a nice one in the $300-$400 range some time back. Tinkered with settings, lighting, backgrounds...just continually got fuzzy images.

This topic comes up every once in a while, which is why a couple of years back I posted a thread to a different site, but all the same it still all applies:

What I will say as others have already, male sure the scanner is a CCD type, you may have to google it to be sure, but be sure. I also highly recommend playing around with the plastic filter as i mention in the post. When the scanner is moving a slight filter really helps any foil pop out. If you need any help just ask, and yes the $100 ish V550 is still scanning some nice images for me.
