BEST/WORST Comic Book Movie adaptation?

the ironman movie looks AMAZING...i think robert downey jr. did a great job (www.ironmanmovie.com)

that said, the best for me would be 300, batman begins, punisher (tom jane)

i liked daredevil...it wasn't that bad, it could've been better but still worth the viewing.

worst movie..spiderman 3, the first live-action fantastic four, batman and robin, batman forever, the hulk, the dolph lundgren version of punisher, spawn, elektra.

C'mon we are talking the worst and Judge Dredd has yet to be thrown into the mix? Lets take Dredds bigest twist the fact we never see his face in over 700 issues and tear it up in 15 mins of film. Then lets throw in one of the ABC wariorrs and Judge Hershey (Not Anderson the Hottie blonde Psy judge) force onto us a seriously por cameo by Ian Dury (of blockheads fame) and just generally trash the whole idea by adding freaking Duce Biggalo as a poor version of a sidkick who in the comics was an idiot who saved the cityfrom Cal.

I am a Dredd purist and this was an insult.

Dark Knight was a fairly good adaptation of "Killing Joke", though not nearly as twisted. The best adaptation is probably, in my opinion, V for Vendetta. Great flick

I loved the movie however I don't think its like the "Killing Joke". Way too many differences.

The basic premise seems based on "Killing Joke". IE the whole theme that anyone can be driven insane. Obviously, lots of details are changed as I think the main story of KJ is a bit too grim and perverse for your standard movie-goer.

You mean like the rape and shooting of a police officers daughter and to then make him look at the pictures:eek: Reminds me of an episode of CSI LV.

I guess its really a miss mangle of a dozen different Joker stories. The Killing Joke was more about the Jokers need for vengence against Batman and Gordon. He struck them where he knew it would hurt the most Babs. To me its a little like the killing joke but it seems to have a lof of the basics from Batman "The Man Who Laughs" as well. Its just a Joker story, they are all similar.

I have a new candidate for worst: WANTED.

Not a bad flick in and of itself. But as an adaptation of Millar's work...BLEARGH.

I liked the newest Hulk (Ed Norton) I'm surprised to see a bunch of you didn't like it. Maybe my judgement so clouded by the first Hulk (Eric Bana).

My Fav has got to be Batman The Dark Night

The Worst... I wanted it to be Ghost Rider.....But it was ok, for me its Daredevil. I hated that piece of crap movie.

Worst: Hulk (not the new one), Elektra and Ghost Rider.

Just atrocious movies... one worse than the other

After seeing Ironman and Dark Knight, which both get top honors, I still like the Blade trilogy as my favorite (R rating helps). However Ironman and Dark Knight all slip into the top three for me. Robert Downie IS Ironman, he was amazing. As for TDK Ledger of course was unreal, which was huge since I do not like Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne, he is ok as Batman.

Still the worst is:

Daredevil
Ghost Rider
Hulk (Ang Lee)

and the absolute worst is Superman (Bryan Singer), seriously I hated that show with a deathly passion.

Captain America from the 90s sucked el mucho asso, but my vote has to go to the homosexualized Batman movies featuring Val Kilmer and George Clooney. Joel Schumacher needs to be taken out to the middle of the square for that lame attempt at film making.

The best movie ever is Iron Man. I HATED Iron Man as a kid. I don't think I owned one Iron Man comic book as a child, and that's saying something. Robert Downey, Jr. made Iron Man a favourite of mine considering my Iron Man hatred is about 29 years old. Well done, well plotted and well executed. Can't wait for Iron Man 2, Captain America and the Avengers movie.

I have to agree that Ironman kicked butt. I still think that the old Heman(MOTU) movie sucked, as a modern movie Catwoman was poorly done, thank God for Hale Berry was in it.
