Best/Worst Show Cards?

Easy topic in light of the Toronto expo, what are the best and worst show-exclusive's you pulled?

Mine - Best: 03 Fall Expo - 2 Boxes of UD1 yeilded nothing earth shattering, but I managed Priority signings of Gordie Howe and Patrick Roy. Also memorable, the guy beside me (Tom Mok) pulled a bobby Orr Graph /5

Honorable mention: Ken Dryden BTP piece from 2 years ago

Worst: Can't remember the year for the life of me, but I managed the bifecta of Jason Blake priority signings one year. I avoided breaking boxes on day 3 in fear of a third Jason Blake.
 
3, count em 3 Aaron Asham priority signings. 3 straight boxes. Best was probably the superlative gardiens debut 6 Montreal goalie piece with Roy, Vachon, price, worsley, plante, and hainsworth.
 
Best Patrick Kane /10 Auto

and worst

Barry Melrose Auto I opened two boxes or series 1, and I got the same stinkin auto for both boxes.

Maybe next time will be the best of all.....
 
I've only ever been to one show which had exclusives handed out:

Went to the ITG booth, cracked a box of BTP and got :

Then later on went to the Upper Deck stand, and saw a bunch of real dud Priority Signings. After breaking a box of SPGU, the rep fanned out the cards in his hand and I picked....

I really can't say I've had a bad one yet..
 
UD redemptions were the worst. You either hit level 500 of the Rogers Centre with your pull or you struck out looking.

ITG redemptions were the best. At LEAST a base hit every time out. I didn't get one redemption I didn't like or didn't do well with selling.
 
I'll count our most recent show...

Best = Pelle Lindbergh Home Grown Silver from the Bossa Show in Vancouver. Honorable mention to the Patrick Roy Stick Save with the partial personalization.

Worst = Torrie Jung Base Silver Jersey, which was still 3 colors.
 
Ive only ever done 3 and struck out all 3 times

1. Gina Kingsbury O Canada jersey (white)
2. Bobby Baun priority /74
3. Adam Burish priority /75
 
I have struck out each and every time with my UD redemption's Burish being one of them but made out well with my ITG '72 redemptions hit Tretiak twice /9.

I pulled 2 Orrs from UD, one from 03 buyback (jersey # too 4/5), that was out of the box of UD1, from that box i think my redemption was a Howe auto, then one from 09 Spring, Priority Signings (Thanks for Karvin here, I didnt make it in time for the redemption, but he let me do it anyway)

worst probably, from UD also, 2 Ben Ondrus back to back lol

Best - Maurice Richard /19 from last years ITG Ultimate

Worst - all of the 9 I've got from UD. Jeff Carter /75 is my best in 4 shows.
 
Tom, you staring in belief at that Orr was quite the site. I heard you had one of the bigger pulls from Priority signings that year also.

Gotta say Fall 2003 Priority signings were the best by far. When Spezza Iginla and Thornton make up the "lower hits", you know some thought went into the program.

Those Leafs inserts that ITG did a couple years back with the MLG ticket design were quality as well. Made good coin off the Joe Primeau, and I wavered big time on selling it - the card was so nice I really wanted to keep it.

yep that 03 was the best, i believe it was the first time they had Priority Signings ??

only 8 in the set too with the lower guys being what you said + Heatley and Bure
 
worst was Jason Blake Priority signings twice in a row, then the following year I think I got some islander that is no longer playing.. so then I decided why would I bust a box to get nothing in return and line up for about an hour..So I quit doing redemption boxes and stick to only HSHS points from BTP or HP
