Hogan's was obviously #1 all-time. Don't remember the Heenan thing I'll have to go back to check that out.

Heenan yells "YEAH BUT WHOSE SIDE IS HE ON?" as Schiavone and Dusty Rhodes go nuts. I don't think it was a horrible thought and it didn't ruin the moment for me when I watched it live...after a while, you expect that sort of cynicism out of Bobby Heenan, so it wasn't out of the ordinary.

Yep. He did this all throughout their time in the WWF. It was his thing.

Agreed. You can look back on the incident 13 years later and think Heenan might have spoiled it, but realistically, his comments really meant jack at the time...just one of those typical vintage Heenan comments.

Ok I remember that now.

Funny story. I was visiting a friend out in Calgary and decided to go upstairs and listen to the PPV by myself as everyone else thought it was dumb to do. Back then if you didn't order the PPV you could still turn it to that channel and watch the show scrambled, possibly get a decent picture for a second here and there but the sound would come through perfect. One by one the other guys call came up until everyone was listening to it. We were discussing who the third man could be as obviously it was an ongoing thing all PPV. I called it to be Hogan as he wasn't on TV for a little while before this, but I didn't actually believe it would be him. Greatest swerve in history and I called it.....
