Better value UD 1 or 2

Not really sure if value is the correct word. I am considering buying 2 boxes of UD and I am wondering if I should go with 1 of each, 2 series one or 2 series 2 boxes. For those who have opened both what do you recommend? Looking for some cool pulls, not really in it to flip. I love older players and Leafs.

The rookies maybe aren't as good (tho' I think Drouin, Horvat and Pastrnak are three of the best from this year). But the content in UD2 is very good.

I opted for neither. I was thinking about buying 2 boxes of each because it would give me a pretty decent chance of having a complete base set plus some decent shots at rookies. But then it occurred to me: for the $280 I spent, I could cherry pick every RC I could possibly want AND buy the whole set.

But I do enjoy opening cards. So I busted a $5 box of old Score and called it a day.

UDS2 seems to be shortprinted, starting to remind me of 2010-11 UDS2

Scotty, pass On both. For what you collect I doubt you'll get the thrill with yg's and subsets. And value isn't there.Try a vintage themed product

I would go for the Series 2, it has a great value this year.

Series 2 - but the QC is terrible. One customer ripped into 2 cases and ended up with a ton of damaged cards (YG's HG's Exclusive's inserts jerseys - nothing was spared) from the insertion of the inserts, YG's, etc.... BRUTAL

S2 seems to be bringing it strong this year. We collectively broke a case at trade night on Saturday and hit 2 HG's, an Acetate YG, a Rookie Breakouts Acetate, a Rookie Materials Patch /25, a Ray Bourque buyback auto, and a regular auto. Solid, solid stuff. Not all huge names but the ratios are there.
