Between the Pipes clarification

Hello! Been a long time since I have been here to visit and catch up on collecting/hobby related topics. Mainly because I have been discouraged by my occassional breaks this year - why do I feel that I am almost always on the "below average" side of "ON AVERAGE"!
Today though I had a chance to open Between the Pipes which is a product I always look forward to, being as its all about the goalies.
I have looked at recent threads and went to ITG's site and am still a little unsure of what I pulled - probably because I don't want to get my hopes up too much.
I pulled a Game Used Number card and those words are written in gold - does this mean it is the "Gold Version 40 different cards 1 of each card inserted"? Or is that just wishful thinking? Any input is most appreciated!

Since I said I am usually "below average" I didn't want to hope too much that this might be the gold version but of course I hoped it might be.
Brian, it is indeed me. I still have my Esche collection but his foray into Russia has kind of limited the new additions to it! Still like Chico and try to follow a bit what he's doing overseas.
The card I pulled was Tokarski which had me pleased since I usually pull the "future star" guys vs current NHLers and I was happy that I am familiar with him due to recent play/success.

look for similar cards on ebay. you should probably be able to find pics of the silver and gold versions and be able to compare for yourself. if you need further help, post links of the auctions with the pics you have in question.

Thanks for the idea for e-bay check. Forgot to mention I did that too. Problem is photography is not always clear based on shadowing and such. Some looked like they were black writing and I'm pretty sure they weren't. Didn't find (yesterday) a game used numbers gold to directly compare though did see some gold written cards. Will have to check again today, haven't gotten a chance yet.

Hello... I have the same problems. What's the difference between gold and silver? Does it say 1/1 on the card or something? On eBay it's hard to say...

If it's gold lettering it's the 1/1. Did you pull another game used card? compare the lettering from that one against the number card and you'll know for certain.
The gold cards do not say 1/1, the only difference in the lettering.

Thanks DogfoodSoup! No sorry I haven't pulled a 1/1 card. I'm trying to campare two Vanbiesbrouck BTP number cards. One is listed as a gold 1/10 and the other (not mentioned gold or silver) /19. Regarding ITG the gold version of the number card is not made in 10 copies, just 1. And it seems that the lettering for the both number cards are in gold, but it's hard to tell.
