BGS or BVG?

i have a couple of Ken Dryden topps rc's that i have been itching to get graded for a while now, and i anticipate doing it in the next month or so. the big question is, do i go BGS or BVG? i would imagine that the majority of ppl on here will tell me to go with PSA, but this is gonna be a one-time thing and i don't want a membership.

input? and maybe your reasoning, as i am unfamiliar with the BVG process...

I voted BGS as I only think BVG becomes relevant as a better grading platform pre-55.

You don't have a choice with the Dryden RC because it falls into the BVG range (pre-1980). BGS is only available for cards btween 1980-now.

I thought that ever since BVG was created that BGS would only grade cards from 81 to present (modern) and that all vintage cards would be graded by BVG? Can you really choose?

only BVG will grade your vintage card. if it is sent to BGS they will send it over to BVG regardless
