Good luck to him

100.00 for a piece of cloth, cardboard and a sticker with ink on it.

Hey Tony, got any Ovechkin's or Crosby's you feel that way about?? :p I'll take them all from you if you do :D

Seriously though, a 4 colour patch auto /5 for $79? Thats not really that bad if you ask me...

No Rod I don't

I guess I just don't like the way the hobby is going. Sorry for coming across a little bitter. I alway said I'll never tell someone how to spread ther $$ so I better not start now.

Tony, I don't think anyone is really happy with the current situation, however you can make it what you want... If you get joy out of collecting certain players or certain cards, that can certainly still be done...

if you like cracking and selling what you crack and hoping to make money... well, those days are probably gone  unless you wait a month or two after the release of the product and the case prices are half of what they were initially...

I really don't think we will see the production numbers we did this year in the next few years, mostly just becuase of the doubla rookie class this year as well as the Crosby and Ovechkin hype... hopefully Upper Deck learned something this year - I'm sure they didn't know what to expect either because they weren't really used to being in a monopolized market...

Before it was 99.99 american.. so he lowered the price. The most I would be willing to pay for it tho is like 40-50.

Oh Ok, yeah, $99.99 is a little more than I would think it would sell for. I really don't think $79 for that card is a bad deal though...

I may be in the minority here, but a Rookie Autograph Patch #/5 with a nice swatch doesn't seem out of line for $79 or $99. Granted Bieksa may not be a "hobby darling", but that card would be a great centerpiece for a player collection or a great addition to a 'nucks collection. Just my $.02. Mike
