What do Stores do with all the Series 2 ordered. No way they will be able to return orders.
Preselling for 300 a box is gone. Consumer wants refund.
This will not be good for Hobby.
UD : cull the herd?

The YG is still in S2, it's only the Canvas version is in Extended.

I expected this all along, so not surprised by this news. Seider's canvas young guns was in extended. So I figured Upper Deck would play the hobby one more time!

I stand to be corrected but did UD ever state what is in Series 2?

Or was it the Bedard Young Gun hype that created it.

They can put that YG out when they want.

On Upper Deck's part - smart business move. Extended becomes much more attractive. I think the only reason they did this is the new variations of the Young Guns allow there to be more than just the base YG. Reality is it's only the Canvas and Black and White in extended. But if you're showing love to the people who have stepped up and pre-ordered and sold out shops pre-inventory in hours - you keep that card in Series 2.

I am guessing yes. Checklist should drop in a few weeks.

Thanks @TMLFan3. I'm assuming he will be as well, because I didn't see any mention of "OPC Update" cards in either the series 2 or the Extended product promo. If there's no OPC update, by implication he'd have to be in OPC.

I'm not surprised. They should have put the YG Canvas in S2 and the YG in Extended. I would have loved to see the uproar that would have caused.

On the contrary, this only reinforces my decision to not even bother with 2023-24 product. It's so absurdly diluted.
