Hey guys,
So the Big One is approaching on October 16th-17th, and I figured I'd run through the ideas with you guys as to what the night's festivities would be after the show.
UFC 120 is that Saturday night in which Gordon-favorite Yoshihiro Akiyama and my brother from another, much uglier, lankier French mother Cyrille Diabate are fighting...so our butts will be parked in front of some TV that night.
The question is where the TV will be and I'm opening discussions as to where said butt parking should take place? What are peoples' personal needs (ie. public transit, etc.)
If nobody cares, I'm gonna throw out the Mountain Shadow Pub in Burnaby...the unofficial public UFC gathering of the 12 Buck Mafia. We could easily get our own area full of TVs (and I assume we can make reservations since they haven't opposed in the past,) and it won't be that busy...and the alcohol is fairly cheap given that it's basically a campus pub. Only thing is...it's not along a Skytrain line and its closer to SFU than suburban Burnaby.
Any other ideas?
