Call me a kid in a candy store, but I was talking to a friend on MSN trying to hammer out a trade and in the wee hours of the morning this is what we came up with:
To me: 3-4 Color Ryan Getzlaf CUP Auto Patch RC, Olaf Kolzig 2 color Scripted Swatches, Wojtek Wolski 2 color HP Auto Patch RC and an Ice Scripts auto of Chris Pronger!
To him: Crosby Rookie Exclusives SPGU Auto, Ryan Miller Scripted Swatches, Corey Perry 4-5 Color SPA Auto Patch.
I am pretty hyped about getting the Getzlaf since after my most recent CUP break, I was pretty upset and frustrated
. Not only he is an up and coming player, but he is also on perhaps the best team in the NHL. Anaheim as we all know is loaded with young forwards and defenceman and should be s solid stanley cup contender come playoff time.
The Wolski, would be my only RC of him, so getting him is pretty much a bonus. Top that off with a sweet 2 color Scripted Swatches card and an auto I can use, I am pretty happy!
Giving up the Sid is obviously hard to do, but there are so many Crosby autos out there and getting one is not a problem. A rookie of one of the best prospects in the league however, with a sweet swatch to boot, is a whole lot harder.
What makes it even more difficult is that I used to have 20 SPA Auto Patches and now I have one lol. Collecting these was absolutely a miscalculation on my part, but ending up with a Getzlaf makes me quite satisfied. Comments are welcome!! Scans of the cards I received, shall be posted later today, when I actually have them lol.
