This has been all the rage here in Edmonton.... I guess it just came down a tilt of the 'Battle of Alberta' and a bit of their remaining pride on the line!

For me having the Capitals pick in the fifth spot... Seein' as this draft isn't as deep as a few. You can pretty well roll the die and hope for the best.

Offcourse we got the first pick this year when there isnt any clear #1 pick anyways...

This is actually first time in whole hawks history when they will pick first in the draft.

I am kinda hoping that Chicago will pick Alexei Cherepanov but lets wait and see what happens.

Personally I'd take Kane myself. On the plus side for the Flyers, in a year where there isn't really a consensus #1 pick there's less pressure on them to hit a home run with the first pick.
