Kind of funny I was sorting through some base a couple nights ago and realized I had 4 of his RCs. At the time I actually thought "well if the CBJ ever pick him up I guess I'm covered." Of course at the time I didn't think it would actually ever happen.

From the deal it sounds like a cheap gamble. If he brings something to the table that's great if not it'll only cost $150,000 which is next to nothing when it comes to NHL salaries.

Gratton definitely has something to offer. The battle in the West is going to be down to the wire! I think it's a good pickup. He's a big body. Stick him in front of the net and make him stay. I remember when gratton was looked at like an offensive asset. Now he is basically one of those forgotten players from the prelockout era.
