Word is Demitra is leaning towards the Nucks though, if they get him the Canucks will do better than last year. This offer will be matched, and Bernier will be sick with the Sedins.

I would think Kesler is capable of 2nd line duties now. He looked good last season.

Also, will Grabner be ready this year?

I find it absolutely amazing that a guy can average 30 points a season in the NHL, and gets a $2.5 Million Dollar contract. $83,333.00 per point for his NHL production so far. Absolutely ridiculous. Makes these guys look like bargains:

Jason Pominville - 59 Point Average - $1.375 mil
Trent Hunter - 51 Point Average - $2 mil
Jussi Jokinen - 48 Point Average - $1.875 mil
Peter Schaeffer - 37 Point Average - $2.3 mil

I think Kesler can move up to second line as well, and honestly, I'd take Burrows with him - but maybe that's too much youth on the line - or maybe we can go Sedins as 1, Pyatt Wellwood Demitra (assuming that's complete) as 2A and Burrows Kesler Raymond as 2B.

I can imagine that we will see Grabner up at some point, but I don't know if it'll be more than 10-20 games. I imagine that it all depends on how he plays in camp. I can also see Jaffray playing in Vancouver more as well.

Demitra is listed as C/W on TSN.
