Bob Froese OR John Vanbiesbrouck?

I'm kinda stumped on this one. As everything in this pic says its John Vanbiesbrouck. The Mask esp. Blocker and Trapper look like the ones John used..
though notice his pads.. Did John Vanbiesbrouck ever wear AEROFLEX pads?
or am I missing something?

Is this Bob Froese? Because I haven't known him to wear Aeroflex pads either.




Anyone have an idea or an explanation?

Dad wore Kinesky's in Philly til they stopped making them, then CCM pads, he switched to Aeroflex towards the end because they were so much lighter. I've only found one picture of him in the Aeroflex pads, but it's at my Grandparents on an old Upper Deck team card sheet.

He also has a Cubberly mask he had made that he never wore in game action.
