This card appears to have been altered by football patch faker ufjumper7

He originally purchased the card here (verified by feedback received)

Although the relist lists it as a different serial number the autograph is identical as are the series of dings on the right edge of the card. Nice convenient blurry photo and well placed price tag try to obscure it but there's no doubt.

The patch on this card clearly contains the wrong type of Blackhawks logo material. The seller put a serial number in the description of a card I didn't have a pic for in my database so I didn't make a thread here. I never really thought of the listed serial number being different from the one on the card. I still should have given everyone the heads up. Thanks for this Darren!

It's the same card, the seller intentionally put 86/99 on the current auction in attempt to throw off doing research on previous sales of the 89/99 card. Like whats posted above, the auto and the side edge nicks are identical.

At least he prices his cards, unlike Mr. Sensfan who said what he wanted or took whatever difference he could get for his altered cards.

It's the same card, he can cover the serial number or lie about it all he wants. The signatures are completely identical and the two nicks on the right edge appear on the card as well in the same spot.

It's almost at the point where UD should just use single color patches; that way, anything with more than one can be easily identified as fake.
